Dr. Anesha Smith is a chiropractic physician, educator, and loving mother. All of these roles shape her growing passion for health and wellness, and her drive to improve awareness in communities such as those in her hometown of southeastern North Carolina. For this reason, she finds ways to give back to the communities that helped develop her as a youth, while also exploring ways to contribute to other communities, whether near or far.

Dr. Smith began her health and wellness journey as an undergraduate student majoring in exercise physiology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. The quality education relating to healthcare primed her for future opportunities in some of the nation’s top teaching hospitals, chiropractic centers, and higher education institutions. Searching for a broader approach to healthcare, Dr. Smith enrolled in Life University located in Marietta, Georgia. She successfully earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Health Science concurrently. The knowledge and experience she gained in both medical and holistic approaches fuels her passion of empowering herself, as well as others to take control of their health and make positive change.

Because Dr. Smith consistently practices her personal health and wellness in order to maximize her quality of life, she enjoys time with family, friends, and doing activities that bring her joy. Whether it’s music, poetry, dance, sports, etc., Dr. Smith will participate, if so moved. Her goal is to LIVE, LOVE, and LAUGH as long as possible!
